Inspiring Individuality, Excellence and Adventures

It takes nothing to join the crowd. It takes everything to stand alone.

Hans F Hansen

One aspect that quickly stands out to anyone visiting Newtown Linford is how comfortable the children are in their own skin. They are confident to speak their minds, share their interests and are self-assured. All without arrogance. Pupils at Newtown Linford are truly able to laugh at themselves and are not afraid to be children or look silly. They can be themselves, even if it is different to everyone else and this is wonderful to see. We believe this is unique and feel proud to offer such a protective and special environment.

Excellence is the gradual result of always striving to do better.

Pat Riley

Newtown Linford has extremely high standards for teaching, behaviour and outcomes. This means that time in school is spent on learning and having fun. The curriculum teachers deliver is considered in great depth and is designed to engage your child whilst reaching the rigorous expectations of the National Curriculum. At Newtown Linford we are always reflecting on how we can improve standards and we encourage children to do so also. This means all children reach their potential whilst with us.

“Blessed are the curious, for they shall have adventures.”

Childhood should be an adventure!

Often our memories of school are not the lessons but the trips, rolling down hills with friends, laughing until you cried at playtime or being in the outdoors. We feel a great responsibility to provide your child with enriching experiences that will make their education memorable. When the right topics are chosen learning can be an adventure too. We ensure all topics include activities that will inspire awe and wonder and have an outdoor element as well.
